Captain Dave Wittenborn has been fishing the local waters of Long Beach Island, New Jersey all his life. In fact, Captain Dave's family has been charter fishing these waters since the 1930's. Captain Dave is a third generation charter captain and a passionate outdoor enthusiast. He has a B.S. in marine science and biology from Rider University and first hand experience studying the marine ecosystems of New Jersey as well as Maine, New Hampshire and Florida. Captain Dave has a United States Coast Guard 100 ton Master Captain's License and is a certified Alaska Marine Safety Education Association (AMSEA) safety drill conductor for cold waters.
